Milestones of corporate development
2019
In the summer, construction on the 27,000 square meter site in Xi’an, China will be completed. Fan solutions for the Asian market will be produced there. Alongside China, the new location will supply products to emerging markets such as Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines.
ebm-papst's modular system for drives with a diameter of 42 mm (ECI-42) will enable users to create customized solutions by combining different modules. The drives are ideal for practically all applications from automation and packaging systems to laboratory and medical equipment.
2018
ebm-papst exceeded the revenue threshold of two billion euros for the first time. That fiscal year saw ebm-papst grow by 143 million euros. oneDay took place around the globe for the first time. The annual event strengthens the connection among employees across departments, locations and countries.
With the new RadiMix blower platform, ebm-papst offered modulation ranges from 1:10 to 1:15. Together with the standardized motor design, this means fewer stocks and less qualification work for boiler manufacturers.
2017
In May, ebm-papst opened the new distribution center in Hollenbach. The company invested more than 40 million euros in the center – at that time, the largest investment in the company's history. 2016
ebm-papst developed a revolutionary concept for axial fans. In comparison to the predecessor model, the aerodynamics were perfected. AxiBlade axial fans are still used in evaporators, condensers and heat exchangers in ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration applications today.
2015
In the fiscal year 2015/16, ebm-papst invested a record €137 million in measures to expand capacity.
2014
This season, Formula 1 racing has experienced its biggest technical revolution regarding efficiency since the sport began in 1950. For this very reason, ebm-papst, the leading manufacturer in fans and motors has decided to enter into a partnership with the MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula 1 racing team.
more.
FlowGrid stands for efficient noise protection features in cooling, ventilation and air-conditioning technology. ebm-papst offers a future-oriented solution for the problem of high-performance technology generating disturbing noise: FlowGrid for axial and centrifugal fans.
2013
ebm-papst celebrates 50 years. The company began production with 35 employees in Mulfingen and constitute today by far as worldwide market leader and trendsetter in fans and drives.
Germany's most sustainable company.

GreenTech - Our symbol for environmental protection. GreenTech is our corporate philosophy regarding efficient use of resources and sustainability. The materials and processes we use are already optimised in the conceptual stage and with an eye to eco-friendless, energy balance and recyclability. In our production processes, GreenTech also stands for maximum energy efficiency.
2008
"Green" fan series, called HyBlade®, sets new standards. The product group featuring plastic blades with inserted aluminium reinforcements not only offers the advantage of low power consumption, but also reduces humanly audible noise by one-half. Due to the materials used, the ecological bottom line is excellent compared to conventional products.
